Discover our Unrefined Cupuacu Butter

Cupuacu Butter is an emollient and contains natural fatty acids, as well as antioxidants, making it an effective moisturizer for dry and sensitives skin. Cupuacu butter is said to be nature's lanolin and attracts 240% more water than lanolin and shea butter, allowing it to become much more effective as a skin hydrator and plumper.

Cupuacu butter penetrates the skin deeply and keeps skin hydrated for longer. It contains phytosterols (beta-sitosterol) that operate at the cellular level regulating the water balance and the activity of lipids of the superficial layer of the skin. The high power of water absorption of cupuacu butter can be attributed to the hydrogen bridges formed between the water molecules and phytosterols. Phytosterols have been used to treat dermatitis and skin disorders by stimulating the healing process.

Cupuacu high antioxidant levels help protect the skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals and pollution. Cupuacu butter is an intense moisturizer making your lip balms more hydrating, your moisturizers more powerful, and your conditioners more potent.
