Tucuma Butter is similar to Murumuru Butter in terms of look, texture, and characteristics. Tucuma's softer texture makes it easier to spread, creating a soft, luxurious feeling on skin and hair with just the right touch of moisture. Unrefined Tucuma Butter has an inviting aroma of caramel, coffee, and nuts that varies in intensity depending on location and time of year. Its hue ranges from light yellow to a rich yellow, and its texture is luxuriously soft.

Tucuma butter is a rich source of essential fatty acids, crucial to healthy cell development and offers excellent skin feel and moisture binding characteristics. Tucuma Butter forms an invisible shield over skin and hair, preserving essential fatty acids and avoiding any harm to the lipid barrier. Its light composition is just like a silicon-based protector, but without blocking your pores. Not only is it great for dry skin, but it's also a wonderful choice for those with oilier skin types.

With approximately 47% lauric acid content, Tucuma Butter is an ideal selection for addressing damaged tresses, defining curls, and shielding hair from heat styling tools; and can be added to hair care formulations to replace silicones. Tucuma butter is excellent for formulations for dry hair with split ends. It penetrates the cuticle of the hair to replace the loss of structural lipids and replenish moisture, giving back the natural elasticity and leaving hair soft, strong and silky. Highly recommended for curly hair and in regeneration of ethic hair.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping dates

  • We currently ship all orders 2 times per week. All of our oils are small batch and hand poured, so we occasionally need an extra day or three to ensure quality while filling. Our oils are kept in temperature controlled environments, and occasionally the hand pour process needs some extra time to ensure freshness.
  • Please Note: When selecting shipping options, If you choose USPS Priority and it shows 2 days shipping, most items to the East Coast can take 3 days on occasion. Also, see above on shipping days.

Returns

  • We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Wild Harvest Botanicals. Due to the nature of the freshness of our product and potential contamination issues, we currently do not accept returns or refund orders.
  • We do however, offer smaller and sample sizes so you can try the product first and see how it might work for you.

Order tracking

  • Upon shipping label creation, an email is sent with the tracking information. In most instances, if the label is created, it will indeed also ship by that same days end. Our system also generates emails the day your package is our for delivery.
